If there's one thing everyone knows about Texas -- or has at least heard once -- it's that everything is bigger in Texas. Speaking as a Texan, that's what we like to claim anyway. And truthfully, a lot of things ARE bigger in Texas.
Take for example the food items in Texas. There are some SUPER Texas-sized food items on Texas restaurant menus. Some are so big that they've been turned into challenges.
And when we say everything is bigger in Texas, we mean it in every sense -- things are longer, wider, and taller. And on the rare occasion, you will find something smaller.
One thing we really seem to make bigger in Texas is our Cowboy's
We're not talking about real people here, however, Texas has had some larger-than-life cowboys in its past.
We're talking about amazingly large cowboy roadside attractions. If you're wondering what this would entail, think of attractions like the world's tallest cowboy, Big Tex -- that stunningly large icon greeting everyone at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas.
If you thought he was the only giant, statuesque Texas cowboy, you were wrong.
Where can you find other giant cowboy attractions in Texas?
Surprisingly, a lot of these Texas-sized cowboys are in the Amarillo area. If you want to take a single trip and see each one mentioned in the list below, then you'll almost travel from one side of Texas to the other.
