When Do The Spirit Halloween Stores Open In Texas?

There used to be a fun, goofy commercial with a woman tapping on a department stores window saying, "Open, open, open". Well, That's me when it comes to Halloween stores.

The Store

There are many wonderful places to get your Halloween goods. Many big box stores are already taking online orders. Items are popping up on the shelves at Joanne's Fabrics and At Home. The big daddy of the group, Spirit Halloween Stores, still has "Coming Soon" banners posted. So when can we expect them to respond to us "tapping on the glass" and let us in? We have an indicator up ahead for you.

The Date

The Spirit Halloween flagship store in New Jersey is set to open on August 1st, and it appears all or most locations will be opening that day and/or weekend. It certainly will be an awesome moment to not only celebrating the upcoming Halloween holiday, but to serve as a great reminder that Fall and cooler weather are on the way as well. I don't know how many trips I make to each of the three stores in my immediate area, because I don't have that many fingers and toes to count on!

Can't Wait?

You can sneak peak a lot of Spirit's Halloween merchandise right now. Ghostbusters fans better start saving their cash, because there's a $249.99 Proton Pack available! How about the new "Horror Babies"? That's a whole line of murderous babies, including the worst of the worst, "Art The Clown".  This year also looks like it's going to be a big one for Beetlejuice and Wednesday Adams.
