It's an annual rite of passage for Girl Scouts across the country, but on Sunday night, it went terribly wrong at a shopping center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Missy Bergeron was helping out her seven-year-old daughter Vanessa during her first year selling the treats when a woman stole $92 out of her hand and drove off.

The suspect, a woman driving a maroon Honda, is still at large, but there's a happy ending to the terrible tale. Good Samaritan Mike Davis heard about the theft while he was at the shopping center where the Scouts were selling cookies and more than made up for the loss by donating $100.
