Candidate for Governor has Tyler Ties
Lisa Fritsch graduated from John Tyler High School in 1993, and twenty years later is running for Governor of Texas.
She stopped in Tyler over the weekend to talk about the issues she's campaigning on, including the goal to end poverty in Texas. Fritsch aims to beat John Abbott for the Republican nomination for Governor in the March primary.
If you missed your chance to interact over the weekend, Fritsch gives us all the chance to connect on her website, and share stories about life, and what it might take to make Texas a better place to live for everyone. There's also a link on the website to invite Lisa to your town, so she could be coming back to East Texas again soon.
Early voting starts February 18th for the March primary, with the general election next November.
