I've been on the air in East Texas since 1999, and in radio for my whole adult life. I've been single, married, and single again, and weeding through the dating apps as a single mom of three girls is quite the adventure. It all leads to one fun and embarrassing story after another for the radio show. We chat about fitness and exercise, relationships, and workplace experiences, pop culture news, kids, and things that bother us and make us laugh and bawl our eyes out too. Faith, fitness, and family are really important to me, and I love shopping and sports too. My daughters crack me up and ask odd questions and challenge me, and you'll hear me talking about wild parental adventures with them too. Life is full and a little nuts, so let's hang out and do it together. It's better with friends, and sometimes vodka.

Post-Game Snacks Are Killing Some Benefits of Kids’ Sports
It sure doesn't take long to wipe out the benefits of exercise. If the kids spend an hour or two playing a softball game and chase that with a bag of chips and a sugary sports drink, they're probably taking in more calories than they burn.
More Hand Sanitizer Is On Its Way to East Texas
Hand sanitizer is scarce right now, but there's more on the way.
A Tyler Store Will Be Part of Record Store Day in April
U2, Paul McCartney, and Post Malone are a few of the artists who will be releasing exclusive new music nationwide on Record Store Day next month, and a Tyler Store is participating.
These Common Disinfectants Will Kill Coronavirus
Good news. Coronaviruses are what are called "enveloped viruses," meaning they are easy to kill if we have the right weapons. There's more than one household cleaner that can do the trick.
Spring Break Ideas If You’re Not Traveling
Spring break is right around the corner and can present a scheduling issue for parents who need to work. The kids suddenly have loads of free time, but it's business-as-usual for parents. So what types of things can we squeeze in?
A Potato A Day Can Keep The Doctor Away
There are right ways and wrong ways to eat a potato, but if we do it correctly we can really do our bodies a health favor.
The Most Annoying Phrases On The Dating Apps
"Looking for a partner in crime" may not be the best thing to say in a dating app profile. Overused cliches like that kind of defeat the purpose if you're trying to prove that you a true original.
How to Talk to the Kids About the Coronavirus
I'm no expert but I am a mom with a heart, and I wanted the kids to be informed but not scared about the Coronavirus. This is what I told them.
