The month of March has been a great month for record catfish on Lake Tawakoni.

Last weekend, 13 year old Brayden Rogers of Cisco, Texas, just outside of Abilene, reeled in a huge catfish according to chron.com. Texas Parks and Wildlife confirmed that Brayden has set the record for catching a blue catfish at 67.1 pounds.

Wow!

He was fishing as part of Michael and Teri Littlejohn's, Lake Tawakoni Guide Service. Check out video of the catch below.

The record fish is currently being held at the Texas Freshwater Fishery Center in Athens and will eventually go on display at the center.

This is the second record catfish caught while on one of their guides this month. March 4, we told you about Josh Garcia of Midland reeled in a record 47 pound channel catfish on Lake Tawakoni.

Well, I guess the only thing we have to do now is a book a tour, bring a big net and cast our line for hopes of reeling in the next big fish.
