ZZ Top To Be Honored

ZZ Top Perform at Place du Palais for Monaco Live Festival

ZZ Top will be honored by the state of Texas next month.  On March 1st, the band will receive the 2011 Texas Medal of Arts at a gala event.  According to the Houston Press, Texas Governor Rick Perry will hand out the medals.  Previous medal winners include Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett.

  • Actors Bill Paxton and Marcia Gay Harden will also be honored at the ceremony.

·        ZZ Top have been working on a new album which will be produced by Rick Rubin.
