Woman Dies at Weekend Festival

A woman died over the weekend while attending the Roskilde Music Festival in Denmark. The accident happened on Sunday and officials report that a woman, aged 25 to 30 fell 98-feet from a tower located in the festival’s camping area. Another woman was also injured in the same fall, but survived.

Officials are still trying to identify the woman and have posted a physical description on the Roskilde Facebook page. This is the first death at Roskilde since 2000 when 9 people died and more than 40 were injured during a Pearl Jam concert.

Arctic Monkeys, Iron Maiden, Kings of Leon, The Strokes and a bunch of rock bands all played at the festival this weekend where the death occurred.
