Nissan is vowing to deliver several ‘commercially viable’ self-driving vehicles to the public by the year 2020. The Japanese automaker is working with Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Oxford, Stanford, and the University of Tokyo on the technology.

This week they have unveiled a specially outfitted electric Nissan Leaf which has with laser scanners, video monitors, artificial intelligence for driver-less function-ability.
