We're used to seeing our fair share of undomesticated animals here in East Texas, but how often do you leave the door open and find three baby deer seeking shelter from a storm?

Imgur user Amscolie shared a photo that melted the hearts of online users everywhere, but what's more special is that Amscolie clearly has a bond with nature, as you can see in her Imgur photos. As a storm was approaching, she went outside and left the backdoor open while searching for the fawn, according to Little Things. She couldn't find them anywhere so she returned only to find them already huddled inside.

She's a wildlife rehabilitator with a handful of other skills as she writes in her profile, "I clearly lack focus'. But judging by her relationships with wild animals from baby skunks, to baby squirrels and to the deer - who are on a first-name basis with her dog, Quinn - she's focused enough to the point where they love her so much, they hang out in the backyard and sit at the door on a regular basis.

While some people would call deer pests because they can wreak havoc on your gardens and are known to have ticks, how do you say 'no' to those adorable faces?

She explained via Little Things:

I raise orphaned wildlife. Recently, the back door was open as a storm was coming. The deer were nowhere to be found. Went inside, was heading to the front door, only to see them next to an end table in the living room. Told them they could sleep in the house for the night because it was going to be nasty.

Amscolie says deer show their gratitude similar to dogs, which results in non-stop kisses on the face.
