We Tried the Gourmet Grilled Cheese Food Truck in Tyler – OMG

We wanted something different for lunch at the station. So we found the latest location of the Say Cheese Gourmet Grilled Cheese Food Truck in Tyler.

In a word, it was good!

I had the Mac Cheesus, mac & cheese with bacon on sour dough bread. Fan-freaking-tastic.

As seen above, I got to talk with the owner, Chris, about his truck, which has its grand opening this weekend. There are several varieties of sandwiches to choose from.

The Plain Jane which is simply munster cheese and chipotle.

The Lone Star (pictured below) which is chicken, bacon, and ranch.

The Tailgater, which is basically a buffalo chicken grilled cheese and The Truth made of cheese with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and onions. Chris also teased there will be a spaghetti Grilled Cheese (what!?) and an 'Aloha' Grilled Cheese.

Also, "Say Cheese" has the coolest pay-it-forward idea to help within the community as well. They have a great program that you can be a part of that revolves around post-it notes with dollar amounts and customer names on them. I speak with Chris about it below.
