Vince Neil Concert Canceled by Garbage Truck
Neil, who was scheduled to perform at Beaumont’s Ford Pavilion as part of a triple bill that also featured Slaughter and one of the current versions of Great White, had to change his plans after a nearby car accident involving a garbage truck caused what’s being described as a “massive power outage,” thus preventing the use of the arena.
Saying that they “regret this incidence occurred” but reminding disgruntled ticket holders that “the safety of fans is a priority for all parties involved,” the show’s promoters promised that the event — a benefit for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals — would be rescheduled for a later date and time.
No word yet on when the rescheduled show might take place, but it might be awhile — Neil’s going to be kept busy with Motley Crue this fall, thanks to the band’s upcoming return to Las Vegas for its second residency. Dubbed ‘An Evening in Hell,’ it’s set to kick off on Sept. 18 and run through Oct. 6.
