Van Halen Issues Preview of New Song, ‘Blood and Fire’ [VIDEO]

Van Halen has posted a 90-second preview of Blood and Fire from their upcoming album A Different Kind of Truth.  A lot of people are saying that the new songs actually sound a lot like new versions of previously unreleased Van Halen songs, and we think that holds true for this track.

A lot of Van Halen fans have pointed out that there are similarities between Blood and Fire and an unreleased instrumental called Ripley that Eddie Van Halen recorded for the soundtrack to the 1984 movie The Wild Life.  Listen to the two tracks and see if you think they sound the same.

A Different Kind of Truth arrives in stores on February 7.
