The plug has been pulled on the March 26 show Van Halen were set to perform at the Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pennsylvania.

The Bryce Jordan Center is a 16,000 seat venue on the campus of Penn State University that is home to hundreds of events a year including Big-10 basketball games. One event it will not host is the Van Halen concert that was scheduled for March 26. While no official reason was given, the venue announced that the show was canceled last week.

Fans who purchased tickets with a credit card will be given a full refund, although the funds will take 10-14 days to be processed. Those who paid with cash can return the tickets to the BJC box office or mail them to: Van Halen Refunds, Bryce Jordan Ticket Office, 240 Bryce Jordan Center, University Park, PA 16802.

The band are still set to perform all other dates as scheduled, including two other Pennsylvania gigs in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Van Halen released their first new album with vocalist David Lee Roth in 28 years last week with ‘A Different Kind of Truth.’ The album is expected to top the Billboard 200 this week, with retailers predicting sales of around 180,ooo – 200,000 copies of the disc.
