As I reported back in November, Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is receiving some major updates and upgrades. The entire outfield area, including Vandergriff Plaza, visitor's bullpen and bleacher seats are getting a facelift. The $11.5 million project will be complete by opening day of this 2012 season.

I don't know about you, but about this time of the year I really start to go through baseball withdrawals. Maybe it's the colder weather that has me looking forward to summer -- or maybe it's the missing sound of the crack of the bat. Whatever the case, the improvements to The Ballpark in Arlington have me and my kids wanting baseball to season to start more than ever.

I found this video on the Rangers' website. It's an update on the construction project from just before Christmas. It also includes some new computer animated graphics with how the Ballpark will look after the project is complete!
