It is almost hard to absorb all of the needs across America right now. So many people and organizations are in need of something thanks to the hurricanes that ripped apart SE Texas, the Texas Gulf Coast, Houston and Florida.

During this time of need, generous East Texans have given to so many charitable organizations with donations of money, non-perishable food items, toiletry items, baby essentials, pet food, clothing and so much more. Many of our local charities have sent canteens, food trucks and food to areas affected by the hurricanes to feed, cloth and give essentials to those that lost everything.

Our local charities have been working so hard to fill the need that they are in need of some essential supplies to help them help those that need some assistance locally. The Salvation Army in Tyler recently posted on their Facebook page that need some help stocking their food pantry.

If you or your business or organization can help out, please do. Donations can be made at their facility on N. Broadway at 633 N. Broadway (just north of downtown Tyler) weekdays from 8:30 to 4:30.
