Tyler Sets Weather Record

I got a Facebook update over the weekend from the National Weather Service that broke the news that Tyler had just tied an all time record of 20 consecutive days of 100 degrees or hotter! Tyler is also on track to break an all time averaged monthly temperature...for ANY month!! So far this July...the average temperature in Tyler is 90.8 degrees. We shall see if they can "hold pace" through the remainder of the month.  I guess the phrase "hot as hell" is not just a phrase any more!
