Donations are needed for The Salvation Army of Tyler's Angel Tree program. You can donate items, including toys and clothing for children whose families are in need, according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph.

You have until Dec. 9, to donate and help provide Christmas gifts for more than 2,500 children and senior citizens through Angel Tree Program.

Slim Chickens restaurants at 3922 Troup Highway and 7925 S. Broadway Ave.
Hideaway Lake Club, 101 Hideaway Lane Central, Hideaway;
Galaxy Vape Lounge, 2106 W. Gentry Parkway; and
Cotton Patch Café, 322 ESE Loop 323.

The Salvation Army of Tyler has also launched its Red Kettle Campaign, with the goal of raising $400,000, which stays in Smith County.
