The Greyhounds Playing Live Tonight at All-New Stanley’s Famous BBQ

Need plans for your left over party animal energy from New Year's? Stanley's Famous Pit BBQ is the perfect place to be. An all star band, a full bar, and BBQ are on top. Never been to Stanley's? This will be the best night for your first visit. 

Stanley's Famous Pit BBQ has been a Tyler tradition since 1958. The Stanley's we all know and love is a lot different than it was at its opening.

Just in the past few weeks there have been dramatic changes to the restaurant. The entire patio area is now covered and heated. There is now a full bar. Yes, a FULL BAR at Stanley's Famous Pit BBQ! The stage is a little bit bigger and is more accommodating for the audiences on both sides of the patio. And, right on that very stage there will be one of the best bands in Texas playing tonight (Jan. 4).

Do not miss a chance to see this show. All of the big changes made to our favorite BBQ joint leave no room for excuses to not come out tonight. The Greyhounds will have an all star line up of musicians. This Austin band will have, Andrew Trube and Anthony Farrell (touring with JJ Grey and Mofro) with special guests TOPAZ on sax and Johnny Radelat (Gary Clark Jr.) on drums.

These guys will be bringing a booming and funky sound rivaled by no other. Men as talented and experienced as these never leave a chance for disappointment. A sound that will take take your body and mind on a journey of pleasure will come vibrating through your ears and down your spine. Funk and Blues are mixed with such finesse and grace, you will think these guys came straight from Bourbon Street in 1940-60s New Orleans. This music will be the catalyst for you to dance. There will be no choice for you, really. Your feet will start tapping and end up with a mind of their own that is only concerned with movement. Shaking hips and hands clapping will plague the audience on Stanley's patio.
