This year marks the 25th time the Longview Professional Rodeo hits East Texas, sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. You can find all the action at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday (April 17-18). All of your rodeo favorites, barrel racing, steer wrestling, calf roping, and of course the fan favorite, bull riding, will be on hand to excite and entertain!

There is also fun for the kids, with the ever popular "muttin' bustin.'" Something that is sure to tickle the hearts of everyone in the family. Nothing is quite as entertaining as watching some cute kids try to master the art of bustin' a sheep!

The rodeo itself is an annual fundraiser for the Greggton Rotary Club, and it also happens to be the largest fund raiser during the year. More than 14 organizations apply to Rotary for donations. Over $40,000 is donated each year to those qualifying organizations. In total, The Rotary Club has donated more than $800,000 since they took over the production of the rodeo.

Two-day tickets are just $20 in advance, and $25 the day of the show. Single day tickets are also available. If you would like to purchase tickets, the official website of the rodeo is www.longviewrodeo.com. So come on out and see all your favorite cowboys and cowgirls competing in some action packed professional rodeo action this weekend!

See you at the rodeo!
