One school in Texas has joined the ranks of many others in the state to allow certain teachers on campus to carry concealed weapons.

And they're not scared to tell that story, either.

Every school in the district has a sign that reads, " “Please be aware that the staff at Argyle ISD are armed and may use whatever force is necessary to protect our students.”

Like many other schools -- including some right here in East Texas -- Argyle voted in January in favor of school marshals, allowing certain trained teachers to carry concealed guns.

Those teachers have to undergo a psychological evaluation, complete firearms and emergency response training and obtain a legal handgun license. Names of the teachers packing heat will not be released, however, for safety reasons.

“I trust that the administrators of this school district will put my kid’s best interest at heart,” parent Lacey Fenoglio told CW33. "“I think if a tragedy does occur, lives can be saved by guns being in the right hands, and I think the teachers here might be able to stop something like that and lives can be saved.”
