Teen Collapses After Four-Day XBox Marathon [POLL]

A 15-year old boy from Columbus, Ohio was hospitalized yesterday (August 7) after a four day XBox gaming marathon. The teen collapsed from becoming too dehydrated. His mother said he only appeared from his room over the four day period to get snacks and take a quick shower.

Hey - at least the kid took a shower. I've been around many hard-core gamers that obviously don't believe in hygiene.

My question - could this be considered child abuse? I mean the kid is fifteen, but allowing your kid to play for four days seems a little excessive. I mean several hours is one this - several days is another. What do you think?
