I made the kids sort through old toys last weekend and our donation pile turned out to be a mountain. And that makes me sad! It's not just the emotional attachment. It has much more to do with good ole parental guilt.

It's more about giving than receiving for a lot of people during the Christmas holidays. Seeing the joy on a kids face when they receive a gift and the excitement that they have when they get to open that gift is all the payment a lot of people need.
