The Aggies' football program just got a major facelift, in the form of a new football facility. This huge $32 million renovation puts the Aggies football facilities far and away the best in the country.
It has been reported that a construction worker aiding in the renovations of the A&M stadium has passed away due to an accident during construction. This is terrible news for his family and brings a dark cloud over the excitement of the improved field.
Reports start coming in around noon today about shots being fired about two blocks away from the Texas A&M campus. Texas A&M Code Maroon Alert System was issued around 12:45pm that informed students and employees that a suspect was in custody, but to avoid the area.
It's official. Texas A&M officially notified officials of the Big 12 Conference that they will an file application to join another conference. If accepted, the Aggies would leave the Big 12 effective June 30, 2012. More after the jump
