As you know we had a super fun promotion challenging the East Texas area cake-sters to submit a picture of their great cakes so we could have a "Cake Off." Today we get to reveal which four Cake Artists will be competing for braggin rights at our Taste of Home Cooking Show coming up on September 8th. Check out the winning submission after the jump.

As a parent, I try to make sure my kids eat healthy food that actually tastes good. There are plenty of quick fix lunches out there for our children that may or may not be nutritional. Check out this recipe and give it a try. The kiddos may thank you.

September 8th - Save the date! Taste of Home is coming to Tyler for a cooking show at Harvey Hall. The doors to the show will open at 4 pm, with the exhibits running from 4 to 6:30, then Taste of Home cooking specialist Jamie Dunn will begin a cooking demonstration in the main hall at 6:30.
