A fire at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Tyler broke out in the kitchen area shortly after the restaurant closed last night. Smoke was seen coming from the roof of the restaurant when firefighters arrived around 11 p.m., but no flames were visible.

Tyler Police believe at least two of three recent armed robberies of convenience stores may be connected.

LAKE PALESTINE -- Divers are resuming their search today for a missing pilot of a small plane that went down in Lake Palestine on Wednesday night. Searchers discovered the plane yesterday in about 17 feet of water, the door hatch had been opened and the seat belt undone, according to State Troopers. NACOGDOCHES — A man accused of stealing a plane from an East Texas airport hangar is jailed in Henderson County and being held without bond. Terry Lynn Boozer is charged with theft and evading arrest after Nacogdoches County deputies acted on a tip from an 8-year-old boy who found the plane at a private airstrip.
