A trio of classic-rock giants will hit the road together this summer for a two-and-a-half-month tour that winds across the U.S. Foreigner, Styx and Don Felder will launch the Soundtrack of Summer tour in mid May.
With their self-titled debut album in 1977, Foreigner immediately rose to the ranks of the biggest bands in rock, scoring a Top 20 LP that sold millions while spinning off multiple hit singles. But as quickly as they found success, they had to start worrying about whether they could maintain it with their next album.
Legendary Foreigner singer Lou Gramm has not been a part of the band that made him famous in more than a decade, but in a new interview, he says that may be changing. The singer behind all-time rock classics such as 'Hot Blooded,' 'Double Vision' and 'Urgent' says his management has been talking about him re-joining the group for a reunion that would also serve as a farewell tour.
Some heavy-hitters in the world of rock are going to be honored this year by the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Joe Perry and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Mick Jones and Lou Gramm of Foreigner will be inducted into the Hall this June.
