That week of snow and zero degree temperatures in February was an awful time for East Texas. It's possible we could see it again but scaled down a bit.
Although past 9 p.m., the sky was so bright it seemed much earlier. Scattered clouds moved quickly across the moon, casting stunning shadows on the sidewalk.
We've got at least another month of the coldest winter weather in East Texas, and then we'll be out of the woods and it will start warming up. And what about snowfall?
The average temperature for East Texas in January is 51, and in February it's 53.
The predictions are we'll be under those average temperatures for the rest of winter. Except for today!
