Sunrise Dog Park Opening Soon

A "Paw Party" is coming Saturday, September 10, 10 A.M., to the new Sunrise Dog Park in Tyler. The "leach cutting" ceremony will include music, doggie bandannas and more.

The park, started by the Tyler Sunrise Rotary Club and the Anderson-Vukelja Foundation, has been a work in progress for some time now with funding coming from only private donations.

They are still in need of additional benches, shade shelters and on-going maintenance costs.

The park is located at 114515 County Road 166, or Baggett Road, near Loop 49.
