Special Gregg Allman Tribute Rock Block Airs At 6pm Today

We all heard the news on Saturday:  Gregg Allman, who joined his brother Duane to form one of Southern Rock's most memorable groups, The Allman Brothers Band, passed away from liver cancer at the age of 69.

To honor his memory, Classic Rock 96-1 will showcase 30-minutes of Allman Brothers music starting at 6pm today, following the wrap up of our Memorial Day 500 countdown. Make a note to listen for legendary titles from the band's catalogue, as well as Gregg's iconic solo track.
