Soldier Surprises Son With First Pitch [VIDEO]

I found this video over the weekend and had to share.  July 4th is a week away and this story fits right in with that.  Check out this CNN video of a soldier who surprises his son at his little league game by throwing out the first pitch.  The part that put a lump in my throat was when the dad says “he learned how to catch while I was gone.”  I can’t even imagine being gone serving my country for so long that I miss out on playing catch with my son.  Thanks to all the men and women who make that very sacrifice so that we can keep the freedoms that we have.  I salute you!  Video after the jump.
