Even as Slash gets ready for a globe-crossing tour behind his new 'World on Fire' album, he's at work on another horror film. In fact, he tells Billboard that he intends to have his next movie out by the end of 2015.

"I'm into bringing back the psychological, the super scary," Slash said. "Especially the things you can't see going on -- character-driven, plot-driven kinda things."

This new project follows his work as a producer and writer of 2013's 'Nothing Left to Fear,' fulfilling the former Guns N' Roses guitarist's lifelong dream of working in the horror industry. Slash's interests go beyond scary flicks too. He also helped oversee a new horror-themed maze at Universal Studios and will serve as a panel participant during Kirk Hammett's upcoming Fear FestEvil.

Slash's upcoming tour dates, scheduled for early February through mid-March, include the Carolina Rebellion Festival and Rock on the Range. He'll be appearing in Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South America, Europe and the U.S. along the way.
