Well, it’s been about four years since we’ve gotten any new music from Shinedown, but now the wait's nearly over.  The band has announced they'll release their fourth studio album, Amaryllis, in March. Frontman Brent Smith said in a statement that the new album is “a message of empowerment, perseverance, and inspiration that I think speaks to fans that have been with us since the beginning as well as those who are just learning about who we are and what we're about. I can't wait for the world to hear it."

In addition, Shinedown posted a lyric video for the first single from Amaryllis, called “Bully,” on the front page of their website, as well as the track's lyrics. The note also encourages fans to share the lyrics from the song on their Facebook or Twitter accounts with the hashtag #Bully.

Amaryllis is scheduled to be released on March 27, but you can pre-order the album starting January 17 at Shinedown's webstore.
