ESPN is reporting today that New Orleans running back Reggie Bush has agreed to a new two-year deal with the Miami Dolphins. The saints have agreed to trade him to the Dolphins pending his agreement of a renegotiated contract with Miami, which reportedly is $9.75 million.  More after the jump

Bush was the No.2 pick in the 2006 draft and is scheduled to make $11.8 million in the final season of his rookie deal.  Bush has missed 20 games over the past four seasons due to injuries.  His career average is 4.0 yards per carry and he has 33 touchdowns in his five seasons with the Saints.

The Dolphins also have Kansas State running back Daniel Thomas on the roster after picking him in round two of the 2011 draft.

Last year, Bush became the first player in the 75 year history of the Heisman Trophy to have it taken away.  He had the 2005 award stripped because of the NCAA's findings that he accepted improper benefits while at USC.
