Kalynne and Allen Arrick were in Colorado on vacation when they found the unlikeliest of visitors at a brewpub in Denver: The President himself.

The Arricks, who live in Tyler, found themselves at Wynkoop Brewing Co. and they later learned the President's motorcade would be passing by.

But then they found out Barack Obama would indeed be coming inside.

The Arricks stayed at the brewpub with hopes of meeting the President, and they did. President Obama walked up to Kalynne and asked her name. After giving it to him, she told the President about her brother, a U.S. Marine who died in Afghanistan in 2010.

The President then hugged Kalynne, talked to her for a moment and gave her a Presidential Challenge Coin, a prized possession among those in the military field, in honor of her brother.

No matter your political leanings, this was definitely a heartfelt moment and certainly a memorable one for these two Tyler folks.

Obama stayed at Wynkoop for a while, spending time with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper.
