Pegasus Project Finds Homes For Horses

Pegasus Project is an organization you may not have heard about. They help take in abused or neglected horses from around East Texas, rehabilitate them and find good homes for these animals.

I had the pleasure of talking with Allyson DeCanio, President of The Pegasus Project, to know more of what they do and how you can help.

As a 501 C organization, they are always looking for donations. It can be in form of cash, but they are also in need of hay and food for their horses. You can also volunteer to work with their ranch hands, whether you are good with horses are not. You can be given some training to help.
