An East Texas Quarterback has been named MVP and OPOY by Pro Football Writers. Congratulations, Patrick Mahomes!

The Pro Football Writers of America named Mahomes the Most Valuable Player in the NFL and the Offensive Player of the Year. Mahomes not only led the Kansas City Chiefs to the AFC Championship game this weekend, but he led the league with 50 touchdowns.

Sunday afternoon at 3:40 p.m., Mahomes and the Chiefs will face one of the greatest NFL combinations of all time, Tom Brady and the Patriots coached by Bill Belichick. The BIG MVP honor will be announced the night ahead of Super Bowl LIII at the NFL Honors event.
