When Ozzy Osbourne canceled his June 20 show in Germany at the last minute, fans were most assuredly bummed but also concerned that there may be something seriously wrong with the “Prince of F—ing Darkness.” Now a statement from Osbourne’s reps has put everyone’s mind at ease.

Ozzy Osbourne has been at it for a long time. In fact, he might be the most career-driven rocker in his age bracket. Perhaps that’s why fans became very concerned when the 63-year old canceled the Ozzy and Friends gig at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany. Another factor that most definitely caused concern was the timing of the cancellation — it was so last minute that opening act Black Label Society had already completed their set when the announcement was made.

Fans were no doubt disappointed, as the Ozzy and Friends dates were already a substitution for the initially planned Black Sabbath reunion tour. Those in attendance have been instructed to check for updates on the venue’s website to make sure their money is refunded.

As for the reason behind cancelling the show just minutes before Ozzy was set to take the stage, a rep for Osbourne relayed to TMZ that it was simply vocal problems. The representative further explained that Ozzy’s overall health is good. Unfortunately, the Osbourne family has already been dealing with health issues of late, as Ozzy’s son Jack was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

The next scheduled date on the Ozzy and Friends tour is still on for June 22 at Dessel, Belgium’s Grasspop Music Meeting, and will continue through early July. Ozzy and Black Sabbath (minus drummer Bill Ward) are currently crafting their first studio album together since ‘Never Say Die,’ which was released nearly 34 years ago.
