A librarian at Oxford University was fired for allowing students to perform and film the "Harlem Shake" in St. Hilda's library. In addition, a graduate student was shown the door and students who participated were fined for their involvement.

Students have rallied behind the librarian, calling for her reinstatement because she just happened to be in the library at the time and was not involved with the filming of the video at all.
