Waskom Bank Robbery Video Released [VIDEO]

KLTV 7 released video today that they received from the FBI from the Citizen's National Bank robbery in Waskom on Friday afternoon.  The bank is located just off highway 80 in Waskom.  This video is frightening since the robber held the gun right at the face of the bank teller.  There was also a bank customer standing right next to the robber while he demanded the money.  The teller and the customer both kept their cool and didn't react in a way to anger the robber. The suspect ran into the bank on Spur 156, around 1:20, Friday afternoon, armed with a gun and went to a teller demanding money. The suspect then was handed an undetermined amount of cash and ran out of the bank. No injuries were reported.

The FBI is trying to link this robbery to other bank hold ups in the Shreveport area. Waskom is located just on the Texas side of the Texas/Louisiana border.

The FBI describes the suspect as a black male about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing a ski mask, red long-sleeved shirt, baggy pants and white tennis shoes.
