Monday is the start of early voting across the state for the May 11th elections, but in Tyler voter administration officials say a large number of voters are showing up at the old location to cast their ballot.

Starting today, the new home of the Smith County Elections Office is located at 302 E. Ferguson, just two buildings east of its previous location in the Smith County Courthouse Annex. The County Elections Office is offering early voting at the new, easy to access location.

The new facility offers customers ample parking, ground-level entry and a spacious early voting area.

Voters in Tyler will consider a $160 million school bond issue for TISD.

Early Voting Hours for the May 11 Election are April 29th – May 3rd: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and May 6th – 7th: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
