Americans love two things, perhaps more than anything else: Their military, and football. Bring the two together where a dad surprises his family in front of 85,000 college football fans, and you've got quite the combination.

Such was the case last weekend in South Carolina.

The family of Army Sergeant First Class Scott Faile was honored as the "military family of the game" on the field before South Carolina's game against Georgia on Saturday in Columbia, S.C.

Faile's wife, daughter and son were surprised with a special video message from Scott on the stadium's video board.

But, as they watch Scott's message, they get an even bigger surprise.

My favorite part of the video is the deafening roar from the fans in the stadium. Talk about loud.

And, of course, it's well-deserved.
