What's in the stars for Stryper vocalist Michael Sweet? A new lyric video for the song "Golden Age" off his forthcoming new album, One Sided War.

In the clip that you can watch above, Sweet and his solo band guitarist Ethan Brosh get the spotlight, performing against the starry sky as the lyrics for "Golden Age" scroll across the universe. Not only does Sweet's vocals come powering through, but the track offers a nifty showcase for the nimble Brosh on guitars.

As stated, "Golden Age" is featured on Sweet's One Sided War album. Loudwire's readers recently selected the disc as the August Release of the Month and Sweet recently premiered the video for the lead single "Bizarre" right here at Loudwire.

"Musically it’s my heaviest solo album," Sweet says about the new disc. "It’s not thrash metal but there are definitely some songs on there that will pop out at you. There are some songs that have a bit of the Iron Maiden / Dio feel to them, as well as some songs that have a little bit of a Van Halen influence to them. It’s a very guitar-oriented, hard rock/metal album with lots of melodies and hooks."

The One Sided War album will drop on Aug. 26 via Rat Pak Records. It's currently available to pre-order at this location.
