Metallica are heading back into the studio soon to work on the follow-up to 2008’s Death Magnetic, and guitarist Kirk Hammett is talking about the new album.  The rocker told Rolling Stone that it will be a bit out of the ordinary, explaining, “It’s not 100 percent a Metallica record.  It’s a recording project, let’s put it that way.”  The guys were going to work on it next month but will now do it in May and hope to complete the effort in two weeks.  Read more at RollingStone.com.
