March Madness is right around corner, and once again this year almost 70 teams will be competing for  a spot in the Final Four, and hopefully an NCAA championship.  Now we didn't have almost 70 bands submit us their music, but with such an overwhelming response to our call for local bands, we decided to do our own brackets for The East Texas Takeover.

First, we want to congratulate Something Blue for taking the number one spot in the first round of voting last week, and they'll be the first member of our own version of the final four. We will have a total of four rounds of voting all through out the month of March.  The voting rounds will be bracketed as follows:

Week 3/5-3/11: Second round of voting (First set of 3 bands)

Week 3/12-3/18: Third round of voting (Second set of 3 bands)

Week 3/19-3/25: Fourth round of voting (Third set of 3 bands)

Week 3/26-3/30: Voting begins for the final four.

On Saturday, March 31, Chris Cobb will play the winner and the runner-up from the final four on the air.  If you have already submitted us your bands tracks, they will be featured in the East Texas Takeover.

And now, Round 2 of the Madness begins.
