Eric Jackson's quote on his Facebook said it all: "RV's float...until they sink." That is what almost happened to his RV while prepping for an upcoming fishing tournament in Deep East Texas.

Jackson and several other pro-anglers are at Lake Sam Rayburn for the Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) Tour Event happening Jan. 10-13. During practice a few days earlier, Jackson had just finished backing his boat into the lake and was unhooking it when it started to back into the lake. It was all caught on video!

"Eric moved faster than any human we'd ever seen..." read part of the YOLOTek Facebook post that captured the mishap

So how did this happen? Apparently, Bodie, one of Jackson's dalmatians, hit the reverse switch and the brake at the same time. Don't worry, Bodie and his dog brother Rocksey were unhurt because Jackson was able to stop the RV before it got too far.

Several Good Samaritans jumped in to help and were able to pull the RV out of danger. Then they helped Jackson retrieve his boat that had floated away.

I'm glad to hear that for the most part everything turned out okay, and Jackson is reportedly taking it in stride because no people or animals were hurt. Good luck to the anglers participating in the event!
