Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda Talks Scoring Films and the Next Linkin Park Album [VIDEO]

The question isn't, "What does Mike Shinoda do?", it's, "What DOESN'T Mike Shinoda do?!"  Besides being the rapper, principal songwriter, keyboardist, vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Linkin Park, he just recently finished scoring the upcoming film The Raid with Joe Trapanese, who previously worked with Daft Park on the score for Tron: Legacy.  Oh and he's also working on a new Linkin Park album which he says is due out sometime this year.

Fans can expect the band to hit the road and deliver a new album soon.  Shinoda said that the band is “starting to announce tour dates now on LinkinPark.com and we are gonna have a new record out this year, mid-year.”  Mike has all the details for you in this interview from HitFix.com.
