Kids Fishing Day This Saturday In Lindale

This Saturday (June 30) from 7:30am to 4pm is the 2nd Annual Kid's Fishing Tournament & Family Day at Parrott Park on Highway 69 in Lindale. The best part? It's free to participate! Kids will be broken up in to three categories: 3 through 6 years, 7 through 11 years, and 12 through 16 years. Prizes will be awarded for biggest overall fish and biggest fish in each age group as well.

In addition to the fishing, there will be music, face painting, blacksmithing demonstration, food, bounce house and more! Registration begins at 7:30am with the tournament running from 9am to 12noon. Family activities last until 4pm.

Parrott Park is located on Highway 69 (just past Lowe's) in Lindale!
