A fast muscle car, explosions and a gritty storyline promise to make the buzzworthy indie film ‘Bellflower‘ a wild ride. Add in blond bombshell Jessie Wiseman in her debut role, and you’ve got one sexy pre-apocalyptic thriller.

‘Bellflower’ is the freshman effort of actor, writer and director Evan Glodell. It features two friends who, in the words of IMDb, “spend all their free time building flame-throwers and weapons of mass destruction in hopes that a global apocalypse will occur and clear the runway for their imaginary gang ‘Mother Medusa.’” We’re not making this up.

Ms. Wiseman plays Milly, a fiery love interest who makes us want to drive too fast and blow stuff up. She looks amazing through the distorted lens of Glodell’s home-built camera, as the misfit characters burn their way through the hills of Ventura, California.

Wiseman comes across as a feisty rocker chick, maybe even one worth watching the end of the world with.
