You can ketchup with the 32nd Annual Jacksonville Tomato Fest this Saturday in downtown Jacksonville.

Jacksonville is still the Guinness World Record holder for the largest bowl of salsa at 2,672 pounds set in 2010. Half of that world record bowl is attached to the billboard as you enter the Jacksonville city limits.

Jacksonville mayor Dick Stone proclaimed on Monday that Jacksonville is "Tomatoville for the week."

There are numerous events leading up to Saturday's celebration including:

  • Dodgeball Tournament - Monday & Tuesday, June 6 & 7
  • Gospel Concert - Wednesday June 8
  • Murder Mystery Dinner - Thursday June 9
  • Golf Tournament - Friday June 10

These events happen Saturday:

  • Salsa Contest
  • Tomato Fest Got Talent
  • Photo Contest
  • Best Homegrown Tomato Contest
  • Tennis Tournament
  • Softball Tournament

Sunday, June 12, will bring a ski show to Lake Jacksonville.
